Conveying Precautions of Concrete Mixer Pump

  • Concrete shouldn’t be piled up on the hopper net and clean the excess particle size aggregate and sundries on the net. When the mixing shaft in the hopper is stuck and can’t rotate, stop the pumping operation, perform reverse operation and troubleshoot. The concrete in the hopper can’t be too little to prevent the pipe blockage caused by suction. Stop pumping in time when the feeding can’t keep up.
  • The mixing operation should be stopped when the pumping operation must be interrupted for a long time. Otherwise, the coarse aggregate will sink. So when restart the machine, please start the mixing equipment first, and normal pumping can be resumed after two strokes of positive and reverse pump operation.
  • If the temperature is low, the empty operation time of the machine should be longer. The temperature of hydraulic oil must rise to 15℃ before pumping. Add a certain mount of water to the hopper to warm the hopper, distribution valve and pipeline.
  • Before pumping concrete, 0.5 to 1m³ mortar shall be pumped first. And retain part of mortar in the hopper and pump together with the concrete.
  • In the process of pumping concrete, pay attention to the actual mixing quality and slump of concrete. If the concrete doesn’t meet the pumping requirements, it must be removed. The temperature requirements of concrete pump are different, which need to be different operation.
